The two concepts of ‘Unemployment’ and ‘National Income’ are among the key macro objectives of every government and are good indicators of both economic growth and economic stability. Reducing the rate of unemployment and reducing the high dependence on oil for income have always been top priorities in setting the goals and objectives of Oman’s successive strategic economic plans
.Based on the above and with the help of additional readings, you are required to submit a report based on the following requirements (50%):
The Student is required to maintain a digital file/poster/journal of news to show the activities carried in Oman in relation to the named macroeconomic concepts (unemployment and national income) and highlight any supportive measures initiated by Omani Government to enhance the named economic sectors over a given period (from January 2022 to December 2022). The news is to be collected from internet sources (newspaper, magazine, reports…etc.) or any other secondary sources. A minimum of (10) news from each of the named concepts should be provided and the source and date of every piece of news should be clearly stated.
Below every piece of news provided, the source and date of every piece of news should be clearly stated and a relevant commentary should be written reflecting a clear understanding of the economic implications and significance of the news.
The digital news journal will be submitted as an attachment to a written report.
The student is required to write a report of a word count of (1500) words, based on the findings concluded from the collected news. In the report the student should relate the concluded findings to his/her knowledge of the macroeconomic concepts and to the international economic environment.
The student should write a title for the e-journal. The title must be related to the contents you are narrating.

In order to sufficiently address this assignment, you will have to refer back to the lecture notes as well as conduct independent research efforts to display the level of critical thinking required. Use your creativity and imagination. Your e-journal must be supported by reading from academic sources covering the assignment requirement.
