This week we will be looking at invasive species.
An invasive species is an organism that has been moved either intentionally or accidentally to a new area, survives, and establishes a population. This non-native species out-compete native species and can play a number of harmful roles in this new environment. The invasive species are successful because generally there is no predator in this location.
