Case Study Paper (included in the course syllabus): Apply problem-solving skills based on
behavioral theory to manage real-world workforce issues encountered by work
organizations, using a case study structure.
Instructions: This paper is both a research paper and case study. Select a company, identify a challenge they
are facing, detail an organizational behavior theory that serves as the basis
for your analysis and then summarize how you would recommend they address their
issue(s). If

Your case study should utilize the following structure:
1. Case
study organization: Your case study should utilize the following structure:
· Selected Organization: Provide a concise overview
of the organization you choose for the case study paper. Identify the nature of the business – market
and product mix and size – both the number of employees and revenue. Outline the company’s perceived competitive
positioning (e.g., Is it a market leader? Is it known to be innovative? Is it struggling or thriving?), along with
the reason you were attracted to select this particular organization for your
paper.
· Theory: Specify the behavioral theory you
are reviewing in the case study. Ideally, your selected theory will be one
covered in the course textbook. · Specify workforce issue & solution: Clearly state the problem you will be
analyzing and attempting to “solve.” Your solution(s) description should include three distinct elements:
o Possible
solution array (include at least two possible/practical solutions)
o Why
you selected the response proposed
o Implications
or challenges to the response (e.g., financial, employee resistance, market
opposition)
· Conclusion: Summarize why you are
confident your solution is the best course of action.
· Bibliography: You are required to include at least six
references. You must use footnotes
(embedded in the body of the paper). If

a. Length:
1,500-1,800 words. If your paper does not meet the minimum, you will lose at
