This course presented information pertaining to women in the workplace, particularly in business organizations. You have learned about the status (in terms of data), what are common challenges employees face due to gender issues, and what are likely effective responses. You also learned a little bit about women entrepreneurs – who start their own ventures, exploiting gaps in markets and products.
For the term paper, you need to contact a woman who is either in a leadership position of an organization or has started & run her own business. In other words, a (higher level) manager or an entrepreneur. You need to then interview her and report on that interview. The intent of this term paper is for you to gain understanding of what a woman who had to face challenges of the sort you read about in papers/articles/books actually did in response. This is also for you to frame your interviewee’s management of her career / professional life in terms of concepts you have learned in Management and Business courses. You can view her responses critically; for instance, when will her approach work and when will it not.
Your paper should be a MAXIMUM of 4 pages. Include citations for any materials you refer to.
