Read the two articles by the same author/anthropologist, Richard Lee. One is based on more quantitative date, while the other is based on an incident that occurred during his fieldwork. Take notes on what interests you about the articles, and how this relates to what we have been discussing in class. How are these two approaches to fieldwork different? How does Lee gather data and information? Does this give him a more holistic view of !Kung culture? Why? Is there any other fieldwork approach that you might suggest to him?
It might be helpful to create an outline of the paper with main points and conclusions.
Be sure to refer to, and when appropriate cite resources we have used in class. This is a good resource for learning how to properly use APA formatted citations within your text.
