I just neeed this paper re written to the way my professor needs it below is the direction I was originally given to write the essay.
COMPARE The OLD KINGDOM EGYPTIAN “Great Pyramid of Khafre’ 2520- 2494 bc with the NEW KINGDOM “Temple Tomb Of Queen Hatshepsut” 1473 – 1458 bc, built about 1,000 years apart. BOTH are primarily large TOMBS, though “Hatshepsut” also functions as a TEMPLE- explain the reasons for this difference in the CONTEXT OF DIFFERENT STYLES. HOW DO THEY SHOW OLD KINGDOM and NEW KINGDOM STYLE CHARACTERISTICS?
I will also attach the essay I wrote along with the revisions I received back from him to correct the essay

We study VISUAL Art Objects in our class.
That’s our subject and the focus in your essay should be squarely on the two assigned pieces of architecture as ART.
In any case, it’s important to focus enough on describing the features of the assigned buildings that (mostly) allows preservation of the spirit (Ka’) forever in the afterlife- this is THE CRUCIAL REASON for why these buildings were made- not at all understood or described here.
What do they LOOK like?
They are actually not so similar to look at- one is rather tall and mostly solid, the other hugs the ground and is also a temple along with being a tomb.
It’s so important to read the text and the Videos and commentary in ‘content’ and the study sheet to fully understand the ideas discussed in class before you write.
And again, not enough focus on the sculptures as Visual Art, the subject of this class- what do the works look like?
