In this week’s lesson, you are going to an interview. The position you are interviewing for is a Transportation recruiter. The county created this position for the public school system due to the shortage of bus drivers. The county pays are compatible with sounding counties. Bus drivers are offered benefits (medical, dental, & vision) The county is on a year-round calendar, which means 6 weeks in school and one week off. Bus Drivers have summer, Christmas, and Thanksgiving weeks off too. They work a split schedule. They get the students to school in the mornings and return in the afternoon at 2 pm. The equipment (buses) is okay, a lot of older buses with a few new ones. There is some contention from the bus drivers about student discipline. They don’t feel the schools and supporting them with student discipline. In this interview, you will need to perform the below task. I know this is short notice, but that is by design. In life, you will be put in stressful situations and expected to perform.
