• What factors do you think might affect memory? What are you interested in testing using the

• Do a literature search and look for studies that have already been done – how do they relate to
your question? Is there a knowledge gap that you could answer using the MIT database?
• Formulate your alternate and null hypotheses
• Test your hypotheses using the MIT database (get a p-value)
• Write the introduction section
• Write the materials and methods section
