An integral objective of this assignment is for you to experience the challenges of identifying and conceptualizing an appropriate project as an opportunity for solving an identified ‘problem situation’. Instructions: The proposal should be written in the style of an executive briefing clearly stating what the project is and giving a clear rationale explaining why the project is necessary or desirable. In this, you need to carefully consider the interests of the key stakeholders from whom you are seeking support to offer a convincing case to obtain their ‘buy-in’. The proposal should contain the following information: 1. Project Title(reducing water waste in the urban area) 2. Introduction that expresses the purpose of this project proposal document. 3. Project objectives (what do you want to accomplish? What purpose will the project serve?). 4. Justification and motivation (a persuasive and convincing argument as to why you think this is a worthwhile project). 5. Summary: the proposal document should conclude with a summarized statement of the preceding information and end with a strong plea for support of the project. 10. References: The Harvard referencing style is the recognized form of referencing at the UKH. A minimum of 5 references are required (Read the pdf document for information about the Harvard referencing style) 11.
