Reflect upon the historical importance of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Historical importance is the answer to, “So what? Who cares?” It matters, but why?
In your short-answer response, address these three questions/topics in your respone. 30 sentences minimum required for the entire DQ response (not each question/topic):
1. Which of the amendments in the Bill of Rights (first 10 amendments to the US Constitution) is important to you and why?
2. State and explain 3 (three) new historical facts you learned from the media you watched (i.e. In the Crash Course video, I learned XYZ.). Be specific and detailed. Success tip: Try name-dropping a historical person, event, or concept. History is specific.
3. Lastly, how do these historical documents tell us that sources are influenced by the historical time period in which they are created (i.e. think – Why isn’t the First Amendment that you have the right to play video games?
