Analysis Paper #3 Overview
Purpose: The purpose of this assignment is multifold. You will be required to incorporate textbook readings and assigned readings provided during the discussion boards in a coherent and cogent narrative that answers important questions related to American government and politics. Thus, this assignment will test your ability to remember, understand, apply, analyze, evaluate, and create, all levels of Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Assignment: In an analysis of at least one-thousand words (1000), answer the questions on the template.
You should devote equal space to each of the questions, using quizzes, textbook readings, and assigned readings. As stated below, you should only directly quote and cite from sources when you quote something unique to that speaker. You should use all the sources available to you and part of your grade will depend on your use of those sources.
Grading: Your paper will be graded upon the following criteria:
The style of writing should be mature and appropriate to a university course.
Use of the first person is seldom effective. Such phrases as “in my opinion” are unnecessary.
When quoting from a source, only cite key phrases or words, not entire sentences or paragraphs. You should quote from a source when that source provides an important point or says something that is unique and cannot be reworded.
